De Gasquet Method

 

Bernadette de Gasquet, doctor and yoga teacher, is a specialist in pregnancy, pre and post-natal care.

She is the first to have highlighted the harmful effects of intra-abdominal pressure, from certain gym exercises, on pregnant women and young women who have recently given birth.

Thanks to her experience as a yoga teacher, she has developed the De Gasquet method, for a muscular strengthening that respects the perineum, which is recommended by many physiotherapists, rehabilitation doctors and midwives.

De Gasquet’s method applies both to expectant mothers during pregnancy and also to young women who have given birth and who need to re-strengthen their perineum.

Pre natal Yoga

 

Prenatal yoga classes are designed to help you to live your pregnancy well, allowing you to relax, loosen up and learn how to breathe better.

From the first trimester until the end of the pregnancy, these classes are there to help you live a fulfilling pregnancy and relieve the aches and pains of everyday life.

Post natal Yoga

 

The post-natal yoga classes are designed by the De Gasquet method to be followed as soon as you leave the maternity, even before perineal rehabilitation (including caesarean sections). You will learn how to protect yourself on a daily basis, how to re-tone yourself and how to re-connect with your body.
