Why Yoga?

Yoga practice has been tested and approved for 3000 years  ! This practice harmonizes the body and mind.

We have adapted this ancestral practice to our current bodies and activities, but the benefits are always the same: strengthen and soften the body and mind, sharpen our concentration, learn to let go to cultivate a positive attitude on our everyday life.

The practice of Yoga teaches us to live in full consciousness and to discover our truth, thanks to the 8 pillars of Yoga:

Yamas – Social rules / Niyamas – Self discipline / Asanas – Postures / Pranayama – Breath control / Pratyhara – Withdrawal of the senses / Dharana – Concentration / Dhyana – Meditation / Samadhi – Enlightnement

My universe:
I am passionate about the therapeutic side of Yoga, which is why I offer a style of Yoga focus on mindfulness meditation and body sensations.
From General Hatha Yoga I integrate notions of Yoga alignment (based on the vision of Master B.K.S. Iyengar) and also deep exercises with Yin Yoga.
Alignment Yoga targets the muscles, skeleton and internal organs. Combined with concentration and breathing, it is a very deep work that allows you to reconnect to your body.
Yin Yoga targets connective tissue and slow deep breathing. It allows a deep stretching of the whole body and therefore to soften and relax intensely. It is the most suitable style of yoga to manage the stress.

In addition to the Asanas (postures), I teach pranayama (breathing exercise), mudras, mantras and Chakras (seats of energy).

Each class will allow you to strengthen, stretch, meditate and learn to breathe well. The courses I offer can be practiced by practitioners of all levels, and are particularly suitable for beginners.

I like to mix different styles in order to offer always unique and diversified sessions!

« True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. »
